A Few Things We Wish Every Guest Knew Before Arriving

After hosting many guests, we see the same patterns every season.

A few small tips can make your stay much smoother:

1. A car isn’t optional. it’s freedom The best beaches, viewpoints, and hidden spots are not easily reachable otherwise.

2. Distances are misleading On the map, everything looks close. In reality, roads are winding, and drives take longer than expected.

3. Your first beach doesn’t need to be the “famous one” After a travel day, choose something simple and easy. Save the dramatic cliffs for when you’re rested.

4. Sun shines on the east The sun hits the west coast beaches later in the morning (from about noon). Our advise to you would be enjoy the west coast from early hours and later, come relax in the easy east coast beaches (and there are a few...).

5. Wind is part of the island West coast beaches can get windy in the afternoon. Mornings are usually calmer.

6. Slow down early Many guests try to do too much on day one. The ones who enjoy it most are those who ease into the rhythm.

And maybe the most important tip of them all: Lefkada is not about luxury perfection. It’s about real moments, natural beauty, and a feeling that’s hard to explain - but easy to recognize once you’re here.
